Our story
Aulasneo was born from a conviction: institutions deserve open learning platforms they can adapt to the way they teach, without being locked in to a vendor. That is why we chose Open edX, the open source platform created by Harvard and MIT, and specialized in it.
Over the years we added what our clients needed: managed Open edX on AWS, Panorama to turn data into decisions, and Owly to use AI where it truly helps: freeing up time for teaching and learning. We believe technology should strengthen human connection in education, not replace it.
2016
Andrés González and Esteban Etcheverry found Aulasneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to build online learning platforms on Open edX.
2020
We start developing Panorama, our learning analytics engine for Open edX and other systems. Its connector is open source.
2023
We present Panorama's architecture at the IEEE Learning with MOOCs conference (LWMOOCs), at MIT.
2025
We present the first prototype of Owly, our AI agent for learning platforms, at the Open edX Conference in Paris.

With a dedicated virtual campus built by Aulasneo, it kept the in-person sessions and brought live training to colleagues across the country. When COVID-19 arrived, the campus was already there, ready to adapt.
