    From one auditorium in Buenos Aires to learners across Argentina

    For years, AIE ARG (Asociación de Ingenieros Estructurales de la Argentina) brought structural engineers together for two-day, in-person training in Buenos Aires. With a dedicated virtual campus built by Aulasneo, it kept the in-person sessions and brought live training to colleagues across the country. When COVID-19 arrived, the campus was already there, ready to adapt.

    The challenge

    AIE ARG's training sessions were a valuable meeting point, but only for those who could travel to Buenos Aires. In 2018, young engineers championed a new idea: keep the in-person sessions and, at the same time, bring live training to colleagues across Argentina.

    The solution

    Aulasneo built a dedicated virtual campus for the association that links the auditorium to remote learners: live sessions by videoconference, online exams and more ways to engage, all in one place. The in-person event and remote access happen together.

    The result

    By the end of the first year, remote enrollments had surpassed in-person enrollments. And when COVID-19 arrived, AIE ARG already had its campus: it added self-paced courses and e-commerce, and began offering and selling courses remotely within days.
